Non-Emergencies
Use this option if you need police to respond for a non-emergency. This may
include filing a report for a crime that has already taken place, report criminal
damage to or theft of property, a dog running at large, or to personally speak
to an officer regarding a problem that you are experiencing.
708/841-2203 - Option 2:
Administrative Information
Use this option if you need records, copies of police reports, information
regarding traffic citations and vehicle seizures, or to speak to a particular
officer via phone.
The Crime Tip Hotline is at 708/849-1600. This line can be used to make anonymous tips and provide investigators with information. Please remember, the information you provide may often solve the crime. This is NOT staffed 24 hours per day; therefore, do not use this line for situations requiring immediate action. This line is NOT equipped with caller I.D.
All parking ticket fines are to be paid at the Village Hall or via IL EPay. However, initial protests concerning parking tickets issued by the Police Department may be filed at the Police Department service window within 5 days of receiving the initial yellow ticket.
Records are available at the Police Department service window during regular business hours.
Crime preventions seminars are sponsored periodically for the benefit of local groups requesting this service. Additionally, block clubs have formed throughout the Village to involve individual citizens in crime prevention.
